Eliminate The Fear Of Calling Your Prospects

You know, I was thinking the other day and a GREEN light immediately came on in my head. It was really simple and I don’t know why I even overlooked this.

You see, I’ve been marketing online since 2006 and I know that follow up is VERY important. Getting prospects for your business is one thing, but do you have a strong follow up system in place?

Many online marketers fail for one reason only and that’s because they have weak follow up systems in place. Many people hate calling their leads on the phone. It doesn’t matter if the leads are warm or cold, calling leads probably is the most scariest thing that a marketer will ever face.

In every business that I’ve ever been a part of, I’ve always done better than my competition when I took the time to call my prospects and introduce myself to them. Calling prospects on the phone is frowned upon because in many cases, the person making the call feels like he/she is trying to sell something and if it’s one thing I’ve learned, most people are very poor salesmen/women! On the other hand, when you take the time to call a prospect, the prospect gets a good vibe and in many cases will buy or join what you have to offer.

As you may already know, my main business is EZ Wealth Solution and has been since June 2009. I always generate tour takers(prospects) for my business, but I never used to call my tour takers. I will say this much though. Back in July of 2009, I decided to give calling my prospects a try and it really paid off. I called 2 people on the phone and I closed both sales! Calling prospects is very powerful, but it is very time consuming in many cases. That is, up til now.

I came across a tool that allows me to send out voice broadcast messages to my prospects. It’s really simple to use. I simply set up an online account with Dialmycalls.com, create an audio voice broadcast that is uploaded to the system by phone, generate prospects for my business and then simply plug them into the system. Put Yourself In The Shoes Of The Failing Marketer

Today, I have to vent a little.

First off, I apologize to anyone who feels like they are getting bombarded with emails from me. I also apologize if it seems like I’m sending out information regarding certain passive income programs that may not seem appropriate.

I’ve said this before and I’ll say it again. EZ Wealth Solution is my primary business, but I do dabble in other programs from time to time. You may wonder, “Why does he join other programs if he’s doing so well with EZ Wealth Solution?” That’s a good question and I’ll let you know why in a minute.

Lets look at things from the failing marketers perspective first. Over 95% of the people who join any MLM or affiliate program will fail. That’s the honest truth. I know it and every other successful market on the internet knows it. These failing marketers join program after program like its a drug or something. Simply put, most people who attempt to market online will always fail.

Now, lets say that I find a VERY easy way to earn money that actually works for me. Wouldn’t it be a good thing for me to introduce such a program to people who always fail? Some people think I should stay away from doing that, but I must say this. If I can find a solution that puts money in someones pocket who has done nothing except lost out on every thing he/she tries, what harm has been done?

I’ve been told that promoting certain passive income program can ruin my credibility. From my experience, it does tend to ruin your credibility with a few people, but on the other hand, it can drastically help your credibility with others. Think about it. If you can put 100 failing marketers on to something that actually works, it can’t do anything but help your credibility.

You see, I know that most people suck at marketing. Marketing is not something that everyone can learn overnight. There is no magic button to push and this is why so many people always fail with MLM, affiliate marketing or business opportunities in general.

You DONT Need Lead Capture Pages To Make A Killing

Please read this if you create or are thinking about creating your own lead capture pages to build your online business.

Most of us have been told that if we want to do good online that we must create a lead capture page or splash page with a form on it that’s linked to an auto-responder. We’re also told that our auto-responder will do the follow-up for us in promoting the business of our choice.

I used to market that way, but lately, my results have been really crappy if I promote a lead capture page.

My sponsor in my primary business has is the top earner for the company I’m with. He’s already earned over $140,000 this year alone and he NEVER advertises a lead capture. TO be honest with, I don’t even think he uses an auto-responder system at all. He simply advertises the heck out of our companies landing page and follows up with his leads on a consistent basis using our systems internal mailer. That’s it!

Up until June of this year, I ALWAYS advertised a lead capture page that redirected my prospects to my business opportunities page after they filled out my form. Well, I took my sponsors advice and just advertised my companies landing page. To make a long story short, in just under 4 months, I earned right at $9000 by doing this. Here is the kicker. Whenever I try to advertise a lead capture page now, my results go way down!! It’s was almost like an on/off switch for my business. I think I know why this is becoming the case. People are getting smart. I think people are becoming more reluctant to join business opportunities under sponsors who create their own lead capture pages. Creating a lead capture page requires a lot of work and knowledge if you’re a newbie marketer. If I promote a lead capture page, my prospect may think that he or she will have to do the same. I’m not saying that lead capture pages are bad, but for businesses that are similar to the one I promote, it may not be a very good option.

Here is a little advice for you. Whatever you do, don’t complicate things for your prospects. Don’t send them to a lead capture page only to send them to another page with a registration form on it. From the results I’m having, I’m seeing that people don’t like to fill out form after form. The joining process should be very
straight forward. You should also understand that if you’re going to advertise your own lead capture page, you had better have an inexpensive system in place that allows your prospect to do the same. Understand that you should have a way to send out broadcast messages to your prospects though. It just so happens that the business I’m building has an internal mailer that I can use whenever I want to.

Just to let you know that I know what I’m talking about on this matter, I’ll post some of my statistics here.

From the beginning of June up til about the end of June, I advertised my companies landing page and averaged $100/Day in online sales. After that, I decided to put together my own lead capture page. Don’t get me wrong, my page generated a ton of leads, but my sales went way down. I’m usually very good at writing my own auto-responder messages that do well, but in this case, I either didn’t deliver or my prospects didn’t like my marketing strategy. I went back to advertising my companies page in mid July, and my sales picked up like crazy. I actually made up for lost sales just by doing this.

This has led me to a new solution that I may try. I still use my auto-responder for collecting leads, but I may use it only to do just that. Instead of writing a series of follow up messages, I may just collect leads by giving away free material and send out manual broadcast messages from time to time because I have been having more success when my messages are go out like updates and instead of automated followup messages.

The fact is that most people are afraid to pick up the phone which really is kind of silly if you think about it. Picking up the phone is only a small price to pay if you want to make money online. Calling up prospects is really easy too. First of all, they’ll know who you are since they were at your website. If they leave a valid number, it means they may want to talk to someone. When you call your prospects, just introduce yourself to them and be sure to let them know that you’re there to answer any questions they may have. That’s it.

You don’t need to be a guru marketer…
You don’t need to pay for expensive products or advertising…
You don’t need to know how to set up auto responder or create web pages…

Join a business opportunity, advertise your business’s page that has a lead capture form on it and call your prospects back. I’m telling you. If you do this, you’ll be shocked by the results. The reason this works so well is because hardly anyone is doing this anymore. People think that the internet is some kind of automation center that will do everything for them. You still have to add a personal touch to your business because email marketing is not as effective as it used to be. Back when the internet first came out, the definition for spam was a canned meat that wasn’t very appealing to many people!! Seriously. If you emailed someone back in those days, the email would always reach it’s destination because there was no such thing as spam filters or double opt in forms. Well, those days are long gone so we are faced with having to talk or chat with our prospects.

Take it from me. When I pick up the phone and call my prospects, I make more money. If I fail to do this, my results will dramatically decrease. The choice is yours.

Want some of my results from calling my prospects? My primary business is EZ Wealth Solution. Out of about 500 prospects I’ve generated, only about 60 became resellers. Now this is the shocking part. Out of those 500, I only called 2 people on the phone to see what would happen. Guess what? Both of them became resellers and it put right at $300 in my pocket.

There are no hidden secrets. In MLM or any type of business opportunity, the guys who make the most money are the ones who call their prospects.

I warn you though. You should only be promoting a page that requires your prospects to leave a phone number. If not, you’ll continue to have the same results. That’s why I promote businesses like EZ Wealth Solution. Otherwise, I’d have to create my own lead capture pages all of the time and that is something that can not be taught in most cases.

So in a nut shell,

Generate leads by advertising your business opportunity…
Call them on the phone and introduce yourself to them…
Don’t lie to them or try to sell them anything. Your system should do that…

Where Do You Advertise?

I get this question EVERY single day.

Every prospect who is funneled into my primary business gets a chance to let me know where they found my site. About 99% of the people will put down that they found my site from a solo ad or a safe-list because that where I advertise the most.

Now here is the part that confuses me. A high percentage of these people will email me asking where I advertise after telling me where they found my site!!!

Here is a rule of thumb folks. If you want to make money online, you must advertise and you must use a combination of different forms of advertising to get the results you want. You also don’t need an existing list either. Having a list helps, but you can email other peoples list to build your list. That’s why people use safe-list and solo ads in the first place.

PROMOTION = PROSPECTS = CALLBACKS/EMAILS = $$$$$$

It’s that simple because regardless to what people may say, there AIN’T no magic button to push!

Before You Promote Anything Else Online, You Must Read This

This will probably be on of the most important articles I’ve written, so please be sure to read as much of this as possible.

For starters, if you’re promoting any product, service, affiliate program, MLM program, or business opportunity, you must stop and ask yourself some important questions.

If I make a sale, who gets the bigger cut, me or the company?
If I make sale, will I get paid today or next month?
Am I building my own list in the process or am I building someone eleses list?
Am I using someone elses system to build my business? If so, you better read this because it may shock you…

The first question is REALLY important. You must realize that people create affiliate programs, business opportunities and MLM programs for one reason and that is to make money at other peoples expense. You see, the owners of MLM businesses basically have no overhead. They don’t have to advertise because they have 1000’s and in some cases 10’s of 1000’s of people advertising for them. Whenever a sale is made, the company always gets the larger cut of that sale. Take GDI for instance. Their service cost $10 a month. When a sale is made, the company keeps $9 and $1 is given to the person who has been doing all of the hard stuff such as advertising and promoting. 10% commissions are very typical. You may be lucky to find a system that pays 20%, but it’s still not much when you compare it to what the company earns. This gives the company a VERY unfair advantage. Even if the company isn’t getting much volume, they’ll always a nice cut of money because they always get the bigger chunk.

The second question is also important because MLM companies and affiliate programs are notorious for paying out at the end of the month while they get immediate access to all profits that are generated. They’ll also set high payout thresholds which limit you to getting any commissions you earn unless you earn a minimum payout amount. If you ask me, this is VERY unethical since many commissions go unclaimed because most people will quit before they ever reach the minimum payout amount. Take this for example. A company has a minimum payout threshold of $50 and they have 1000’s of people marketing for them. Out of that 1000, lets assume that 200 people are able to do enough marketing to produce $30, but they quit shortly after. Well, even though these people have $30 in earned commissions, they can’t get their hands on it because they did not reach the $50 threshold. The company gets to keep a whopping $6000 and they didn’t have to do anything to make this money.

The third question above is also important because you always want to make sure that you’re building your own list. By advertising your affiliate program or business opportunity, you are in a sense building their list whenever a prospect is generated. This is one reason why many people never make a penny online because they spend their wheels building someone else list and don’t even realize it.

If you’re using a third party system to build your primary business, you could REALLY be shooting yourself in the foot. Why? You see, if you use a 3rd party system, your prospect has to come in through this 3rd party system first. They’ll then end up on the list of the 3rd party system in most cases which is their main goal; to build their list. The 3rd party system will then go to work to do it’s best to get your prospect to join the 3rd party system as well. Since most people already have a business to promote, once they plugin into the 3rd party system, they’ll completely forget about your business. They then focus on completely on the 3rd party system and their business which won’t do you any good at all. You may have the prospect on your list, but you must compete with the service that is being provided to them by the 3rd party service and they’ll have a very unfair advantage. There are many system out like this. My 2DP Marketing System is one, but I do give my members the ability to integrate their own auto-responders so that they handle 100% of the follow up. I’d have to say that only 2% of the people will do this. The other 98% simply do not realize the importance of building their own list. The Spider Web Marketing System is another system that complicates the process of building your business. Remember this. You can only build what you promote. If you want to build you business, then you better market it. If you want to build someone’s third party system, then better market it.

So how do you simplify the process of building your business?

The best way is to create your OWN lead capture page which will build your own list. You’ll then market whatever you want to your list. This is very difficult for most people to do, so we can rule this out as an easy way to build your business.

It’s actually really simple, but you must know that it does not have to be a complicated proess and no, you don’t have to create lead capture pages as many people will tell you.

What you must do first is promote something that allows you to earn 100% and allow you to get your hands on your money TODAY rather than next month. Now this may be hard to find, but there is an easy way to do this which I’ll mention it to you later. This is important because you’ll need money to keep your business funded. If you have to wait til the end of the month to get paid, your funding sources may dry up and your business will fail. Think about it like this. Does a brick and mortar business hold it’s profits til the end of the month? I seriously doubt it. They use the profits so that they can immediately put them back into the business. This is what business owners do. If you have to wait to get paid, then you are only an employee.

Also, if you’re going to market online, whatever you promote should have great marketing material. They should provide lead capture pages and powerful marketing material such as videos and tutorials that will do the selling for you. Now many people will disagree with me here, but those people must see where I’m coming from first. I promote something currently that allowed me to make over $7000 during my first 3 months. No, I did not have to use an auto-responder and I also did not have to create a lead capture page. All I did was, advertise my business and follow up with my leads. That’s it. You see, I’ve learned that in many cases, personal lead capture pages can slow down the process of building your business. Take this for example. You create and advertise a lead capture page giving a free course or ebook to generate leads. You then have the lead fill out a form to go to a page telling them to confirm their email address. They then get the free ebook. You then have to market to them using your auto-responder trying to slow sell your business opportunity on them and in many cases this won’t work. You see, when a prospect is on your mailing list, the chances are very high that he/she is on someone elses list too. This is what people never talk about here. Your prospect may be on the list of 5-10 people or even more while they decide on what to join. Since most people suck at writing good follow up emails, the guru will end up winning most of the time.

How do you over come this?

Join something that has powerful marketing material. Advertise the your businesses lead capture pages or in some cases, their landing pages. Trust me, this works very well. My sponsor earned over $120,000 in 8 months and he never advertises a personal lead capture page. He’s just really good at follow up. Just be sure to keep track of all of your leads if you do this. I don’t have to do this because system has a mailer than allows me to follow up with my prospects whenever I please.

Take This Advice Or Leave It

I’ve been doing A LOT of testing lately. Mainly, I’ve been comparing my results from advertising a slash page or a lead capture page as compared to my primary businesses landing page. My results were shocking! Usually, we are taught to advertise a personalized lead capture page, capture our prospects email addresses and then redirect them to your primary business page. You then can follow up with them with your auto-responder. This actually had worked really well for me over the years, but lately, I’ve been having much better results by simply advertising my business opportunities landing page and I’ll give you the reason why.

If I advertise a lead capture page such as this one Here, I generate MANY leads, but I have a very low conversion rate of them becoming Tour Takers with my main business. You see, a person who fills out the form on my lead capture page will be very reluctant to also fill out another form once they arrive at my opportunities page. Many people actually hate filling out forms in the first place. I do get a few people who will register with my business after filling out the form on my splash page, but not very many. Now, when I advertise my opportunities page, I get many people to register which is my main goal anyway. You see, as long as they register, they are still my lead.

I’ve found that most people want to join something that is simple and straight forward. Most people don’t want to fill out a form only to have to read 2 pages of material which leads them to another form where they have to watch 5 videos and then join something so that they can go back to the original site they were on to create another account and plugin information from a program they just joined. Sounds confusing huh? Well, their are many systems out on the internet just like this and they confuse the heck out of people. In reality, all people really have to do is join a business, advertise that business and follow up with their leads. Over the years, I’ve dealt with a few successful marketers who made well into 6 figures. They didn’t advertise lead capture pages or splash pages. They simply advertised the heck out of their primary business and followed up with their leads. The problem is that most people are looking for a system that does the work for them.

Don’t get me wrong, some systems work very well at building a certain business opportunity. The problem is that these systems usually don’t last very long. Good examples of this are the Spiderweb Marketing System, Payitforward4profits and also my very own 2DP Marketing System. I will admit, my system does a VERY good job at getting leads, but sometimes leads don’t convert to sales for certain businesses. Also, a system puts a block ahead of what you’re really trying to promote. I know you’ve seen this before. You request information on a SUPER business opportunity. You fill out a form only to be presented with a $10-$50 one time HOT offer! This is done because most marketers know that you probably won’t join their business opportunity or buy what they really want to sell on you. They present you with a one time offer to squeeze as much out of you as they can. This can work really well, but setting up a system like this that converts well can take a lot of work. So you decline the offer in this example, you’re then presented with the SUPER business you requested information on only to learn that you have to fill out a form for more information. From my experience, many people will not continue to keep on filling out form after form.

Over the past few months, I’ve earned well over $7000 from various things online, but the bulk of that money has come from my primary business and I can owe over 95% of that from advertising my opportunities landing page and nothing more. Yes, I do follow up with my leads and that’s the main reason why I’ve done so well. By sending people right to my business opportunity page, I’m ensuring that there are no road block ahead of my business.

Here is my advice to you. Advertise your primary businesses Splash page or lead capture page. Let their auto-responder follow up with the leads for you. You can also take their information and put them in your own group mailer or auto-responder system. This way, you don’t lose your leads. If your business has an internal mailing system that allows you to contact your leads, USE IT! My current business has one and from my experience, I’ve always done well with businesses that has this feature.

I’m actually a little upset for what he has done. Just kidding!

Get Ready For The September Rush: Put Your Game Face One..

This is just a reminder that we are heading out of August which is generally the slowest month of the year
on the Internet and when we hit September, it gets BUSY!

Here are some tips for you to get prepared.

1). If you’re in a decent opportunity that pays well, but aren’t seeing any good results now, do not get discouraged. The later part of the summer is usually very slow, but usually picks up in September. I recommend that you quit your current business opportunity only if it doesn’t pay out well and you are looking to make more money.

2). Don’t stop advertising because we are in a slow season. Even things may be a bit slow now, you still want to funnel prospects into your business.

3). Don’t buy into the pre-launch hype. As we into September, you may see MANY new programs and pre-launches popping up all over the place. You may get the urge to start program hopping. Here is a rule of thumb. If you’re not making money now and have never made any money on the internet, joining another program isn’t going to magically put $1000’s in your pocket. Well, there are Ponzi schemes that always pop-up, but you want to stay away from those anyway.

4). Consider becoming a reseller with EZ Wealth solution.
